Initial Meeting
After you contact me we will meet, via phone, e-mail, or if you are nearby, at my workroom.  We will discuss your ideas, review fabric you may have or need, talk about pets if appropriate.  We will take measurements.  We will visit about approximate cost.  From this I can generate a plan that will be presented to you at our next visit.
Second Meeting
At this time I will share with you the plan.  This will include a time-line, a list of supplies needed, & projected cost.  With your approval, & a 20% down-payment, we will proceed.

Third Meeting
Our next contact will involve fitting.  A "muslin" (a trial garment made of inexpensive fabric) will be sent to you with explicit instructions for fitting.  This is when we determine whether our design is long/short enough, too tight/loose, neckline too high/low, etc.  We may visit via facetime, messanger, or ideally here in my fitting room.
The muslin is marked & used as a pattern for our actual fabric. The garment of the "real" stuff is then constructed & sent to you for a final fitting.

Fourth Meeting
This is when you see it come together.  The garment made of your fabric will be sent to you, again with instructions for fine tuning the fit, marking the hem, etc.  It is then returned to me, with another 20% of the final cost, for completion of these tasks.

At Last!
Now, your idea is a reality. Your finished garment is sent to you. Any remnants of your fabric is returned to you.  Final 60% payment is due.

The process from idea to reality.
