Welcome to my sewing room.  Please let me introduce myself.  My name is Lynette Roth. Thirty-some years ago I began a dressmaking business from our home.  I wanted to spend as much time with my daughter as I could as she grew up (she did) & I needed some income.  I let it be known in our community that I would "do sewing" for others.

Through-out that time I met many wonderful people, made or altered hundreds of wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, choir dresses, mother's dresses, little girl dresses.  In between I have hemmed thousands of pants, jeans, skirts, sleeves, & mended rips, tears, broken zippers, horse blankets, slipcovers police uniforms . . . .

Along the way I aquired a large stash of fabrics.  Many pieces were bought at small independent stores, or estate sales, or were given to me by family & friends.  All these fabrics have memories attached.  All have been patiently waiting to be made into garments.

A common story I hear from women is that it is difficult to find dresses that are comfortable, practical, & modest.  My goal is to use some of my materials & offer that sort of garment.
